You said you wanted some suggestions, so I previewed the first one and here's what I came up with.
When identifying your subject, be sure to isolate the items you think will enhance the subject matter. Look for distraction things in the foreground and background. Your exposure was great to work with, so you don't have anything to worry about there.
I have attached what I think would be a better representation of the subject and background colors as you indicated was the emphasis in your photo.
I realize my image may not be what you were looking for exactly as there were many ways to isolate what you captured. This is just one that came to mind for me.
I hope I have been somewhat helpful. Your photos are sharp and the exposures are good, you just have to ask yourself what is/are the important details you want your viewer to enjoy, and try your best to lessen the effect the other components have in the image.
As I have already mentioned, my image may not be what you are looking for, but it may help you in deciding content composition in the future.
The other skill you will want to develop concerns post processing skills. They can surely help as I use them on my images as well.
Good luck and I hope this helped you out a bit.

What caught my eye was the flowers as well as the background. I like what you've done and your thoughts will make me pay more attention to composition (big picture).
