I am also female, and it drives my family nuts when I tell them I am "going for a ride"(they know I like to wander with my camera!)Pepper spray is a good idea. I am a city bus driver, and feeling fearless most of the time, so I kind of forget how vulnerable we all can be while out wandering alone. You can never be too cautious these days.

I'm drawn to this view for some reason, it's on my way to work. Pictures taken days apart, New England weather, gotta love it!
