my RAW workflow consist of first setting your white and black points .I do this by using the exposure slider to set my white point.Then i use the black slider to set my black point.
Then i use to brightness slider to adjust midtones.
When setting your white point drag the exposure slider to the right or left while watching the little triangle on the right side above the histogram and as soon as it lights up back off just a little.
Do the same with the black slider except this will be the little triangle on the top left side of the histogram.
Then the brightness slider will be just to adjust your midtones for your own personal taste
