Wayne, your Auto shot is slightly warmer than the manual though I do agree with you that if you copy the auto settings into manual mode the result should be exactly the same, unless of course the ambient light changes slightly.
Thank you SDB777, I have done the overcooked HDR type shot before and liked some but I do prefer to keep them looking real.
Unfortunately I had to be somewhere else or I would have stayed longer.
I did get this shot the other night but I think I have over photoshopped it.
The location is pretty close so plenty of more opportunities will come for better results.

Never seen it as good as this. Did you shoot from the river bank?
I climbed onto the breakwater rocks close to the waters edge to take the rocks out of the shot, it does indeed look like I was at water level but was probably 6 to 8 feet above.
Thank you very much everyone.
I need to find other locations as I have lots of the same, when I do find a decent location I will be sure to post them.
Glad you liked it, thank you for commenting.
I forgot to add any details.....
Canon 7D
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6
Taken at 20mm f/11
s/s 1/2, 1/5th and 1/20th
3 shots merged in photomatix
I had 25 minutes until sunset and a 15 minute journey so I knew I would have to be right first time and am very happy with this shot I captured. I hope you like it too but feel free to add your opinion either way.

Rac, why don't you ask your scientific questions on a scientific based forum instead of a photographic one, I am sure you will receive the answers you are afraid of.
We saw your reply the first time no need for 2 more but then again you do like to go over the same ground more than once with every thread you make lol
Rac you have already raised your views and everyone here already knows them there is no need to keep reinforcing all the time. I thought god wanted you to spread the word but you seem very focused on this group of people.
He was mentally torturing the lady, she was happy until he launched into his attack on her morality.
Without your creating the thread there would be no reply from me, I am not the pusher
Is he a nice person for making that lady feel bad, I don't think so. He may have had a good reason in his mind for ruthlessly questioning her but that doesn't change the fact that he hurt that lady.
Full marks for your stubbornness Rac, sticking to your views like a limpit is commendable, I just wish you wouldn't keep pushing it down others throats.
Just be happy believing what you want to.
How many years have you been trying to convert others way of thinking with no success at all that I can see?
