Does anyone have any good ideas for photo ops in and around the Milan area? I love landscape and architecture shots. I will be there for 8 days on business and hope to do some exploring.

I was just in the Arches NP for two weeks in May. You will absolutly love it.

From a friend who does not get out much. This is our first vacation in 12 years. I will post more as I get into Colorado. CC's are most welcome.

Julie you are right on track. Your pictures are fine. When the speed get faster as when your kids get into HS you will need to reevaluate the conditions and limitations of your equipment.

Hi Julie, I have been shooting sports for almost 20 years. The thing you have not said is how old your kids are. I have found that my 30D worked great for a saturday event during the day of peewee football, but as my kids got older and the action got faster the camera and lens started to show their weaknesses. I started to shoot HS under the lights and that brought on a whole different problems. I currantly shoot a 7D and my favorite lens is a 70-200 2.8 on a mono pod.
