I am going to Yellowstone next month, and I am trying to determine the best lens to bring with me on this trip. I am bringing my 16-35 and 24-70I. am a Nikon shooter so my biggest challenge is what is the biggest glass needed to capture my images. I have a 70-200 2.8 and I can add a 2x teleconverter, I also have a 300mm len. I am trying to minimize my gear for this trip. Should I leave those two lens at home and rent a 200-400?
I would appreciate your thoughts.
My wife bought this camera for me as a gift six months ago. I find that I still use my Nikon D800 as the camera I shoot with all the time. Even though the P7700 is a great small walk around camera.
I have an extra Nikon battery that goes with the camera. The price is $350.00
I am looking for the Cannon underwater housing for my G-9.
Thanks
Why are you selling your D7000?
I just purchased a RRS pano set, does anyone have nodel points they could share for Nikon 16-35,24-70,70-200. I am shooting a D800.
Thanks
I am traveling to San Francsico next month and I am looking for unique shooting locations so I can maximize my time to get great images that are not the typical shots of this great city. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...
Go to Tremont, great river and waterfall shots. Very close to Cades Cove, which is great, get there for sun rise, lots of fog, and you should see the horses coming down through the fields.
Hi,
Does anyone know of a photographer who is a tour guide on Maui, I am looking for a photographic tour of the Island in October.
Thanks,
I use a Nikon 2x with my 300 2.8 and 70-200 2.8. You will lose 2 F stops with this converter, so you need to shoot with a fast lens. Tele-converters only work on lens that are 50mm or greater. I have also used a combination of my 2x with extension tubes to get greater reach and this combination has also worked extremely well in some situations.
