I am very green when it comes to posing people for photo shoots. I have many books on how to, but when it comes to the moment, i have a hard time actually putting the people where they belong. Any ideas would be helpful!

If you have an iPhone...there's an app for that... I almost always look at poses I have previously used that work or if you don't have many to look at that are your own, do a web search OR go to Pinterest and type in "Senior poses Boy" Or "Family Photo poses" and get some ideas. Make yourself a little booklet to look at while shooting to refresh your memory. I always look at specific poses based on what I am shooting. The longer you do it, the more you will remember. Michelle Celentano says to "puzzle" your larger groups (like family shots) together - make them interlock like a puzzle. Not easy to set up to begin with but easy once you start doing it.

Which is a ficticious quote, a piece of political satire posted in The Liberty Paper, an online publication.

Should you care to check it out:

It is NOT fictitious. He said it. I saw him say every word on TV. The news didn't make him lip synch! He said it!

What's the problem?

And who said it?

Obama said it. This whole discussion is about this particular quote.

"America is a great country. There is no denying this. However, I caution you all as you step forward in your careers. Peer back into history and ask yourselves — Was a revolution truly necessary? Great Britain may not have had it completely right, but they had many things right. Take taxes for example. If your neighbor makes $1 Million a year, but you and your family can barely keep the heat on should he not help your family? God instructs us to help our neighbors. He does not instruct us to look down upon them though the windows of capitalism. Why then on the Fourth of July should you celebrate such a radical break from what is Godly and just?"

He DID say the above quote...word for word, I watched him say it. (On TV, mind you but he said it.)

I get mine from Greyhound Pets of America NW. They're headquartered in Portland but are headed south in a week and a half to show off their recent retirees to southern Oregon. People just don't know how beautiful and living these big babies are! I live animals if all types...but greyhounds are st the top of the list.

Such intricate work on the building of #1. I have always loved the curves and domes of the churches like #2--Russian Orthodox?. Beautiful. thanks for sharing.

It's a museum now although they let some Ukrainian orthodox and Greek catholic things go on there but yes, built in the 10-1200s. Some amazing old structures in Ukraine. I love the onion tops gilded in gold. Kiev has 3 or 4 amazing HUGE structures along with several dozen beautiful smaller churches.
