Quality minced beef....... He will eat anything he can get his claws on, snakes, birds and rodents... He is quite timid and will take off if surprised, but once I throw meat at him he will let me come quite close..
Your right, just a small block of wood and a couple of paper clips... If I wanted more height I would screw a wooden slat to the block and the paper clip at the top... Cheap as ....

I was lucky to be visited by pair of Plumed Whistling Ducks who took over the seed tray.. They checked me out when I opened the back door, so I stayed inside and photographed from there..

These Lorikeets come most days for a free feed. We have Kookaburras, Curlews, Magpies, Noisy Miners, Corellas and others also arrive, we're the best restaurant in town.. Two Goannas also pop in for a meal now and then... I will post photos of some of them here under the heading... "####, From Down Under"... as time permits...
