I'm a retired trucker. You guys don't know what high tolls are. My trip over the GW was $50.00+ one way. Don't ever tell me about New Jersey. The only state in the Union that you have to pay to get out of.

I'm sorry but I just had to reply. Every single person who holds a camera in his or her hand is or at one time a "GWAC". I do not believe that any photographer, well know or not was born with all the knowledge when we started taking a picture. I really hate that word.

Mike

PS. About 10 days after I bought my camera I rented a studio. Worked all day with a model friend. Picture came out lousily, no good at all, but now I feel I can do pretty good.

I have one and I did like it but now it seems something is wrong. I own a Nikon D5200. CamRanger does support the 5200. My problem is that the CamRanger must be plugged into the jack for the remote shutter release. By doing this the "Live View" is disabled, making the CamRanger in useable. Live view is need for the Ranger to work properly.

I may be doing something wrong, have some setting not properly set. I anyone can help me out on this I would be grateful.

My eyesight is not what it used to be and I was hoping I could focus better with the Ranger as I have a couple lenses that are not Auto Focus.

If I could get it to work right I would go ahead and get the remont controlled mount.

Can you, with what you have described, control the camera? The aperture setting, ISO changes, Shutter speed, Focus and take the picture? I know with the 3100, downloading of the photos, is possible and that the Eye Fi will work. But what you are describing is not Tethering. I had to upgrade to the 5200 for tethering. For tethering I use my laptop and a pad in conjunction with CamRanger. Which will control all aspects of the camera operation.

Unless this computer person was a relative or a friend, please tell why you would buy a computer from him? Even if it is throwaway, you wanted it fixed. If he didn't want to fix it, find someone will to fix it and give that person your business from now on. Not someone with worst customer service. If had been me, that person would never in his life get another dime of my money, much less BUY another computer from him.

I have a D5200, I wish to tether it to my laptop. I am running Windows 8 Lightroom 5.7. With the camera connected, and I did double checked my connections, computer and camera turned on When I click "Start Tethering" I get a "No camera detected."
Where did I go wrong? Am I going to have to buy Nikon's software?

Thanks
Mike

I have a Nikon D3100 and a D5200. I need a 50mm with Auto Focus and VR. So do I need a D or G, X R or a BY504 ( These are just making fun of the numbers on the lenses) series Nikon lens.
I am very satisfied with both of my cameras. Not really looking to upgrade to more expensive. Just want a 50mm lens that will Auto Focus.

Thanks
Mike

Would you please explain the independent agent (gypse). I do not know about California, but Tennessee and Virgina require that an agents license is held by the broker. So the newly licensed agent must work under the supervision of a broker. So the agent is required to join the National Association of Realtors. Not trying to start a thread, just asking a question

The card was stolen or the card number was. And the big reason it went thru was the CVV number was there. I never saw the card. I ran the card on a Virtual Terminal, money deposited in my account send the money to another person thru Western Union. They picked up the money. Started a charge back to the card PayPal took the money from my account and refunded it to the card. So in reality they got the money twice. Once thru me with Western Union and again thru a charge back. The address for the card was fake did not exist nor the address of the person that the money was sent to. So who knows really who has the money
After talking to the police if found out a lot of things. It's Christmas time, you carry your packages to your. Use your key-less entry, a person is close by, has a device in his pocket, it captures the code of you entry device,. You leave, lock your door, he or she walks over presses a button your door unlocks, they take your packages or steal the car, or just takes everything re locks the door and well you can figure it out. How someone stole your packages when then car was Locked and there is no sign of forced entry

I use Square and PayPal. But if you use ether one's Virtual Terminal can cause a ton of headaches.
I received an request to shoot a family reunion. I took the payment with PayPal's virtual terminal. for a total of $2100.00. Problem was it was a scam. The person was in Nigeria the money was passed between at least two, maybe more people. Last week that person did a charge-back for $2100.00. PayPal took the $2100.00 from my account, left me with a -$1,900.00 negative balance.
My advice, use Western Union, Money Orders, Money Gram, but not use a Virtual Terminal

I am bidding on a photo job to photograph a executive for their web advertising and other uses. My question; Should I license the photos to the corporation for a period of time or just shoot the portraits as if it were a family and not license?
