And I still like the first one the best! Nice job!!!! And I appreciate the fact that you aren't afraid to try other things...in the end it's "follow your gut!" :D

Thanks Jaedmund... if there is anything I have learned in my 63 years is to never discount ANYONE's opinion... and ALWAYS try new things... Its what keeps one young...

If I would have seen the in between first, it would be my choice but the first one is the best.

Thanks.... Giving the weather at the time... lots of heavy rain and thunderstorms throughout the day, the picture evokes that sort of feeling I think... Its going on my new photos wall in my music room...
Thanks everyone for the input...

Thanks for your replies... I think I am going to go with the original too... Well...the original solarized one ..... I am new here and I appreciate the back and forth critiquing ... I am learning new things at UHH and look forward to delving into this forum a lot in the future...

That image has immediate impact, love the tones and mood.

Thanks, Bruce... I thought so as well, but as you can see below, I followed a suggestion of lightening it a bit and it looks good to me too... I tried to reduce the solarization, but the PSE solarize filter was either nothing or full bore...so I just lightened it...
What the verdict?

Darker...

Lighter...

or maybe in between..??

Am hoping to move to North Carolina myself. Have to leave Long Island because we are all being taxed to death. Like to see homes around Lake Norman where my sister moved recently. As a diver am also interested in photographing the "Graveyard of the Atlantic "

YEah...I hear ya on the taxes thing... I am originally from Taxachusetts and also got sick of shoveling snow too.. :)
