Here are my pics for todays photo challenge and are from my last visit with the gorillias at the zoo. They seem to show that this gorillia has figured out that all these people come here to see him, and that he must be one fine looking animal. At least thats how I see it.

I am one fine looking dude?

The more I look into it I might go the route of just getting a new head for it. I still like the idea of finding a lighter model when I am walking the fields and woods all day. But you make a good point on the quality of those old bogens. Just curious as to what head you settled on? Thanks.

Looking for some imput. I am thinking of replacing my old Bogen for a newer model. I do mainly outdoor photography with a good bit of it macro, so I need a model that can get low to the ground. I do shoot some bigger lens so its got to be sturdy. Any thoughts on the subject would be welcome

Here are a few from last years trip to Snake Road. Snakes are one of those hard to shoot animals. They are fast and long and hard to get all in focus at one time. For this Rough Green Snake I tried a few angle, f-stops, and focus points. All three pics were shot with a 90mm Tamron macro lens. Hope you like.

In this shot I focused in closer to get just his head and some leaves behind it


This last shot I slightly changed the f-stop and isolated his head focusing on his eye. The result is his head was the onlything in focus.

Danilo, Thanks for the quick reply. The pictures are in jeg peg (converted on photoshop from RAW). I also understand that hitting preview will disapear the files. My problem is that I hit send and in the case of my avatar picture hit update, and the files disapear anyway. Do I need to change some setting on my computer? Any help will be great. Thanks.
