Great shots. Nothing but pouring rain here today and tomorrow but will try this on Monday :-)
Thanks
Great Picture, can you tell me how you got the Bird so sharp and the rest blurry?
I can NEVER get this with my S5IS :-(
onOne has released a free version of it's photo editing software Perfect Effects 4. It can be run as a standalone, or as a PS / LR plugin. It only has 70+ filter effects (the full version has 400+), but it looks interesting, and the price is right!

If you have a Windows 7 system and ever need a full installation disk for some repair function, you are likely to be out of luck. Nowadays, most PCs only come with a restore or recovery partition or sometimes a restore disk. However, neither of these provides a full installation but only returns a system to the same setup that it was in when you bought it. This is often not what you are looking for. Here is how to get a legitimate free copy of an ISO file for a Windows 7 full installation disk from the download service that Microsoft uses for online Windows 7

I downloaded the Win ver of CS2. I'll see how it compares to the latest Ver of Gimp. Thanks for the link.
I am glad it worked for you. I just tried the Photoshop Elements and serial is no good. I got the info from this site:

You may have seen rumors on the internet in recent days that Adobe is making available copies of its older Create Suite 2 available for free.
The rumors is, in fact, true. Head to http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html and there are download links for Photoshop CS2, Acrobat 8, Illustrator, In-design, Audition and more. Along with serial numbers, ready for you to install.
The software isn't exactly cutting-edge, as it was released in 2005. But it still represents a bit of a bargain, so what's up?
The official explanation from Adobe is that, in December 2012, it shut down the servers that handled product activation requests for CS2. Following complaints from existing customers who needed to reinstall their paid-for copies of CS2 but were unable to activate them, Adobe then released the downloads and serial numbers.
First time I see this.
I love to take pictures of OLD buildings Barns Farms and the like. They have so much character and the next time you drive by them.....they are gone.
Maybe I am missing something? The question was
how to darken overexposed portions of an image using picasa?
Do all these programs allow a PORTION of an image?
How do you do that?
I been using Watermark Studio for years.
