My little hummers are still hanging around ! There are three that I know of and at 23 degrees, I think they are natives for sure.

I took some pictures off our deck this morning and when I viewed them on my computer I noticed a hummingbird in the upper left side at the feeder ! They must be pretty hardy up here or just forgot to go south for the winter.

I feel sorry for all the people that were duped into spending a lot of money on travel and housing to come to this event and not be told untill the last second it was off.

My of use had the opportunity to take pictures of the Endevour when it rolled down our streets for the last time before being displayed at the California science center.
I noticed the american flag on the left side was backwards \. So I started to ask people why. Do you know why?
Its because in war they want the stars to charge not look like its running away is the answer.

You are close..In fact it's " Always advance,Never retreat'

Shaun is right.... No pilot likes seeing his prop "stopped" in midair. You just need practice is all. Seems you have good panning skills, just keep up with the practice.
Someday you'll get it and you won't even notice,, someone else will say you are doing good and you will look at your work and then say yeah, I got it. :) BTW, how did you like the races?

It was great ! And I like your avatar ,It was awesum at the show !

Nice shots but again, you want to have more propellor blur so it doesn't look like the engine has stopped. Keep your shutter speed at 1/250 or below and pan to stop the aircraft motion and the pictures will seem more realistic.

I had a real problem with that. When I slowed down my shutter speed the pictures were not clear enough for my taste, especially in flight.
