well there, that's your problem....check out what some of the newer phones do in the way of photography, you will be surprised....
not to say their up to par with a decent digital camera, yet alone with any DSLR.....BUT to walk around without the ability to shoot what's at hand is the point....a photograph is only a moment in time that mostly likely once it passes will not come around again.....
sorry but I don't think you have that much time....
but here's a thought for you...there's a beautiful shot right in front of you,
you don't happened to have your DSLR with you....do you snap the scene using your phone, or just commit it to memory?
that's why I purchased Fujifilms HS 50. Get one to hold, you will see and feel the difference at once. Sorry for your loss.
sometimes they will give you a 30 day additional coverage period.
They wanted to charge me over $200. to fix a small Canon I only paid $110.00 for NEW ?
I wish you luck with them, but don't expect too much.
you inspired me to shoot some flowers my wife has on our small front landing.... Fujifilm 50HS....
Hibiscus - about to die
Asian Lilly (bulb)
Asian Lilly shot from above
not sure about the sensor you mentioned....I do hear a mechanical noise whe I try to switch to the shooting mode,
anyway I am going to toss it, right after I try stripping it down just because I love taking things apart to see what's inside....:) :) :)
ahhh...I guess I should have thought of that, since I do have an old Casio that everytime I remove the battery for a charge I have to reset that informtion....I guess that one died some time ago.
thanks.
actually a few years ago I fixed a Canon PowerShot 2 that had the sames issues (lens would not retrack)...using WD40. it's still working.
So far the WD 40 hasn't helped....
I have a new pocket camera ordered already, so I am not counting on getting this one to work again.
I have a Canon Elph 530 that has it's lens stuck in the open position.
It was under warantee but they saw a slight nick on it and said the camera must have been dropped (which I have no memory of happening) and sent me an estimate for $190.
Since I only paid $107.00, naturally I had them return it to me,
lens still in stuck position.
Now mind you....EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CAMERA WORKS.
YOU CAN VIEW PHOTOS TAKEN, ZOOM IN AND OUT ON THEM WHILE VIEWING, GO FROM PHOTO TO PHOTO ETC....
BUT WHEN YOU SWITCH TO SHOOTING MODE, LENS ERROR COMES ON SCREEN AND CAMERA SHUTS DOWN.
I removed front panel, which didn't help me at all in getting in to lens....HOWEVER I NOTICED SOMETHING I DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED....THERE'S A SMALL BATTERY INSIDE THE CAMERA BODY ....LOOKS LIKE A HEARING AIDE TYPE BATTERY.
Anybody know what that's about ?
I reassembled camera, having only 1 tiny metal piece left over,
which didn't effect the camera at all....
Using my last resort..... WD-40 :)

Very ince photos. It is nice to see ospreys nesting in NE Ohio. Your last photo is American Coot.
Is this also a type of 'Coot' ?

Nice. Moody. Maybe later you can get a shot of that 27mm pancake lens with an actual 27mm pancake.
I guess that's done with mirrors?
It's the job of advertising to get you to buy 'shit' (excuse me) you really don't need.....getting motivated to get out and use the very good equiptment you already own, in my opinion, is the thing to do.

I am guessing here as I think there are errors in your question.
2Gig Ext. HD??? Is this a 2TB?
PS7??? Are you using Photoshop Elements 7 or the even older Photoshop 7.0?
Opening and re-saving a desktop image saves it to your desktop and internal HD, not External. If your External drive is full, then some cleaning may be required to remove those un-deleted files and make space available again.
your correct about 2 things...my external HD is 2T and I am using the older Photoshop 7.0....
other than that.....what I originally said still stands.
My 2T HD is not full. I use Picasa, and all photos loaded there go to my G drive (2T)

SOunds more like a problem with the external HD rather than the software program.
How about creating a folder on the HD and seeing if they can be saved there? Or, put them in a folder on your desktop, then try to move that folder to the external drive.
I looked in to the properties on HD...couldn't find anything to indicate a solution.
Once somethings on your desktop...it's also on your "C" drive,
which would then surely indicate 'disk if full' for sure.'Thanks for your thoughts....
