Thanks everyone for being hosest. Truthfully it only makes people better at what they love. I will continue to work on my skills. Lighting has always been my worst area and thats a bad thing when photography is really all about light.

I too love old barns, but I like to use them as backgrounds for portraits. Here is one I found in my town. A knock on the door for permission and bam a great photo.

Lens flare is on purpose. My first few trys donig it with the camera vs photoshop...hope you like

low lights conditions are tricky. Did you have the camera on a tri-pod? The shutter has to stay open longer in the situation to capture enough light to expose correctly. If you were holding the camera any movement while pressing the shutter button could translate into a blurry picture despite AF.
