I used my Nikon 7100 with a Nikon 70-300vr. lens...the moose was close, I didn't need a big lens.

I really like my 7100..I did have a nikon D-90. I did not use a tripod on these pics...sometimes there is not enough time to get the tripod set up hope the animal doesn't run....

I was using a Nikon 7100 with a nikon 70-300vr lens....

He is an old bull getting a new rack...and this was taken in the Gros Ventres mountains just north of Jackson Hole...Moose Junction is farther north...

Yes I did! It was a great day....there was alot of wildlife out and about. And the weather was great too. Cold but clear.
