Try this first - the next time - Always zoom with your feet first where possible.. When we zoom we loose DOF. Smile
What do you really need to understand? What are you asking...? If it moves,, use Tv or S if it is not moving.. use Av or A.. This will get you started.
Here is a little silly rule that works most of the time. If the subject is moving.. shot on TV or S. If the Image is not moving consider Av or Aperture priority. This tells us, the dog is moving so, to freeze the action.. try a higher or faster shutter speed... Smile Bob
This is the most asked question by my photo students. This works every time.

Here are, what I believe, are your settings detailing the DOF Depth of Field. If the settings sent me were close, the total DOF was on 6 inches, front to back... everything else will be out of tack-sharp focus. How close am I?
you shot through the hotel class.
What were the camera settings on this image? And remember to turn of your image stabilization. cokerphotos.com
You are too kind. I'm looking for some thing I can use in Photoshop. I need the chief larger then smaller of the other team members. Yes, I'll need to put names under each. I bet I'm looking for a software solution. I have put the F.D. logo and would like to design it my self unlike a simple contact sheet. more like small class 16x20. Thanks for all your help!

I need some help. The local Fire Department has asked me to put 13 portraits on one 24x36. How do I space them out to make it fit. Just like any Senior class photo you have seen in the past. Really puzzled. Thanks
I think 1/800 sec would freeze any movement.. hmm?
