JUST GETTING STARTED and need help, information, experience on Child GPS tracking devices. Nugget, my 8 year old Down Syndrome granddaughter, is very mobile, quick, and is a runner. WE have been advised to look into a Child GPS tracking device; however, really have no idea on how or where to get started. Last week she got away from her paternal grandparents and ran into a corn field and it took over an hour and about 20 people to find her. If she to get lost at an event, park, or etc. she would not be able to tell anyone her last name, address, etc. It's a bit scary.
My question is do any of you have any experience or knowledge with these devices? Any first hand information would be most welcome.
 Thanks.

Jerry,
If your computer is off, the eye-fi card defaults to sending them to your Eye-Fi account that you set up when you registered your cards. As soon as you turn on your computer, the eye-fi program activates and the pictures will download to your primary computer. Check your Eye-Fi program settings.

Maureen, buy a set of Dental picks, a head lamp and a good magnifier (can be had at Harbor Freight for short money). The picks come in different shapes and sizes, so you can reach down and straighten the pins.
Then slowly insert the CF card and seat it firmly. CF cards have true pins, unlike an SD card which has a rail that rides on the metal teeth on the card, so be gentle.
