Riverlass, I was pretty close. Probably 3"-6". The pictures are all cropped. The frog was 1/250, f5.0, ISO 200. He was such a good model. He stayed wherever I put him like a little pro. I have a shot of him on my pinky finger and various other poses.
The fly was 1/200, 5.0, ISO 100.
The bee was 1/60, 4.0, ISO 250.

It's the Birth Certificate thing warmed over. Even after everyone saw it, it wasn't good enough, it was tampered with..blah blah blah. My guess is if he released the college transcripts someone would come up with yet another thing for him to prove or say were fake. It will never end. If I were him I wouldn't play the game either. I can't believe some of the stuff I read here. Half of the Obama haters spew venom and lies w/o fact checking. If it was in a tabloid or email, it must be true? If they have nothing else they bring up his father that left him when he was very young and got DUI's, had many women etc. How does that matter? He was gone from his life! Obama must really be good to keep all these accusations from being proven over the years. No one else in history has ever been that good. Not even the Kennedys!!

I feel sure it's an effort for him to put one foot in front of the other. All he wants to do is tour the world and spread his so call charm...waiting for the adulation he gets from the public to fill the emptiness of the man. If you would have noticed... he blasted Romney in every way imaginable... but Romney was too decent of a man to do the same. Therein lies the difference between the two men. Obama was an absentee Senator... just as he is and was an absentee President... Only idiots pays a man $400,000 plus unlimited expense account to sit on his royal butt and ACT like he's just been awarded "MAN OF THE YEAR". And what idiots in the Peace Prize awards would even consider a man who was absent from his Senator job more than any one in History.... when it was just a few days after he made president... man alive... this literally blows one's mind.....

Because of this, Obama will probably continue to miss fewer votes than McCain Democrats control the Senates agenda and can protect Obama from having to vote on potentially controversial legislation.

Alaska dream trip suggestions

The drive from Anchorage to Seward is my most favorite drive ever. Around every turn is more beauty. Be aware though, it's a dangerous road. It's some of the most beautiful scenery ever, which causes scenery gaukers to cross the center line and locals can be impatient and try to pass when they shouldn't. There are several pull off spots for veiwing, I strongly suggest using them for photos. As someone mentioned previously, the Kenai cruises out of Seward are wonderful. They are a photographers dream. For sure you will see glaciers. The seals are always basking on their rocks and I have seen at least one whale everytime, usually 2-3. You may also see porpoise, puffins, bears on the shore and moose. They also serve lunch on the boat. (Take dramamine) Have I conviced you yet? Have fun!!
