I got the same lens for Christmas, I am having a good time with it. It takes some time to get use to and yes you get wide range in your pictures. Have fun with it.

Thank you very much. Iwas wondering about the aperature cause when I turned it that would lighten or darken my image. but as far as thefocus it all looks the same to me. could you post a couple of your pictures? Like what do you mostly take pictures of with your fisheye? I had fun using it in the backyard today, some pictures really looked cool, and others didnt look much different. Again thank you very much for the information, that helped alot I thought it was just me not doing something right it just seemed too easy. Lots to learn and have fun with.

Hello I got a Rokinon 8mm f3.5 lens for Christmas for my Canon 7D camera. Can someone tell me a little about how to use it. I went out and was taking pictures but seems like the only thing you can change is the ring that makes the picture darker or lighter besides that I see no difference when you turn the other rings. I looked on utube but couldnt find out anything about how to use the fisheye. can anyone help me. Thanks

I am thinking of asking my husband for a fisheye lens for Christmas Just something fun. I have a canon 7d camera and would like to know what fisheye would be good. Not too expensive around $300. Please help me out so I can let him know. Thanks
