And before you present any made up statistics, please ensure all events involving criminals or gangs etc have been removed from the data set. Case in point - firearms related 'child deaths' usually include ANYONE under age 18 INCLUDING miscreants shot by police OR by those they sought to rob - so all of those younger gang-bangers & criminals that are removed from the gene pool get counted.
A couple of cliches unabashedly presented:
When firearms are outlawed, only outlaws will have firearms.
When seconds count the cops are only minutes away.
Its better to carry one and not need it, than to need one and not have it.
'gun violence' = bull spit term invented by gun controllers. Inanimate firearms can't be violent, only people are.

So far the usual trolls fail to provide cogent counterpoints to the well reasoned responses posted here.
Rather they deflect, insult, and simply ignore the importance of our 2nd Amendment AND from whence it derives its Sovereignty. Most pushing for more 'gun control' in the US are either politicians afraid of an armed citizenry (much as king george SHOULD have been) OR like soros, gates, pelosi, shoo-mer, biden, obummer, clinton have 24 hour armed security provided for them.
Anyway - I digress. And Dennis - I don't paint the left with a broad brush on this issue. Recent surveys have shown a 'remarkable' uptick amongst those on the left with first time firearms purchases and licenses to carry concealed.
As promised I have attached compendia from a few months of recent magazine articles reviewing incidents of folks defending themselves from all types of predators - from 4 legged to 2.
As we know - the usual trolls will continue to deflect, ignore, or otherwise post irrelevancies. Not ONE can dispute ANY of the incidents posted in the attachment. Having a firearm is like having a parachute. You hope using it Never becomes necessary. But better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
