Competition is a great motivator. It sparks creativity and innovation. I have sympathy for those who lose some corner of the market. But as consumers, we are constantly looking for a better way or a cheaper way to get the job done.

This topic is comical. If you are a skilled photographer, I'm sure you don't have anything to fear from some novice buying a camera at Walmart or Cosco, etc. and taking a few pictures. If an amateur can affect the livelihood of a professional, then that so called professiional is probably not very good to begin with. And therefore, the "professional" needs to reevaluate and upgrade his own skill level.

Also with progress, some jobs are rendered obsolete. I mean, I haven't seen many horses and buggies lately. LOL!!!!

I was under the impression that this site is here to ask questions and gain knowledge. Am I incorrect?

I'm also in the market for a new camera. I'm looking at the rebel T3 as I am new to photography. The only negative thing I have heard about this camera is that it's very loud when taking pics. Can anyone verify and or explain why so loud?
