Okay, I am totally lost. I have read the manual for my camera and the terms are way above my head as is most of the conversations on here. I have been doing photography since I was 10 years old but never realized how complicated digital is. I am taking a class at the end of the month and hoping it will help me with a lot of the words, numbers, etc. and their meaning. I am like a first grader who can't spell my own name. I am still having a blast taking point and shoot with my camera but can't wait to get up to date on what is what in the digital world. I recently bought a dummies guide to digital photography, hoping it will help me out some too. I don't want to go into class without even knowing how to "spell my name" LOL. I understand this site is for beginners but I don't think everyone knows just how much a beginner is lost when it comes to set your speed at... or change your exposure.... I am the kind of person who needs to be lead by the hand. LOL I am glad to have found this site and hope to soon be able to fit with the conversations. Hope everyone has a great week end. Take care and God bless.
Thank you. I'm not sure what they are called. I have some on Holly trees but these are on small bushes. Sorry. I can ask around and see if someone can tell me what they are called.
A lil something red
I took this during a car commercial shoot my daughter was in last summer. She is the one on the right.

Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me to this site. I have been playing with the camera I got for Christmas and have barely touched the surface of all it can do. I look forward to warm weather where I can get out and practice with it. To all of you have a great day. Take care and God bless.
Thanks for the links  . Very helpful.
Thank you  . After playing with the camera a bit I did get it open and have left the flash on it as I am thinking now I will just use it as decor. I appreciate all comments from everyone on this subject. Have a great day. Take care and God bless.
I'm sure. Everyone I know who works there has great benefits, not to mention awesome pay. It is still going strong but thats not to say they may have had to cut back recently in some areas. :-(
 I am near Eastman Kodak Chemical Company in Kingsport but of course it is not just cameras it is everything Eastman makes. I couldn't get near there without being an employee.
Great link, this is it exactly. Thank you. :)
OMGoodness, okay. Thank you. Wow, I didn't realize how many different ones there are. This will keep me busy for awhile. Oh well, just what I need. :)
Mine says Brownie Hawkeye so is there three different cameras, one a brownie, one a hawkeye and one a brownie hawkeye or am I just totally confused now? LOL
Thank you for your reply. I am looking into all the options I am getting from the site here. I hope to be able to use it again but as one guy suggested, I may just set it out as a conversation piece. Take care and have a Merry Christmas.
