Hi Davidmac....[quote=davidmac]Love all. How did you take #3?[/quote
I set up a fairly sturdy tripod on a somewhat rocky beach in Mamaroneck, NY on a July 4th evening....the fireworks were going for five minutes or so...I set my aperture on 5.6 and set my shutterspeed at "B" setting and took several shots using my lens cap to "open & close" the shots...this one was approx 1/4 to 1/2 sec as you can see the boats moved a bit
the first shot is of the museum at Grand Place in Brussels...taken with a Pentax 645---75mm lens on a tripod at f8 for approx 1/2sec exp....the second is of NYC near 57th st. taken from the 23rd fl of a friends apt..on a tripod f8 approx 1/4 sec with a Sony A350....the third with a Pentax 645 w a 160mm lens...handheld...f5.6 @ 1/100sec
