When you purchase an item write down the item and place where you stashed it on a calendar. Be sure to hang the calendar on a wall where you will be sure to see it, such as on your fridge or in the bathroom next to the toilet. If you lose the calendar----

I live in a very rural area on one side. There is nothing but a hay field and creek where I release them. They probably end up being food for a hawk, snake, or Hooty, that is an owl living near by. Glue traps and poison are big no no's.

I use Mouse Cubes. They are safe, cheap, easy to use, and humane. Oh yeah, they work like a charm. I release them about a mile from my house.

DIY Checkouts - R. I. P.

Time was when someone had an overflowing cart and saw that you only had 2-3 items, she/he would let you go ahead to make your measly little purchase. Well, those days seem to have gone the way of the Dodo bird. Self checkout helps me get in and out a lot faster. I will miss it if it goes. I'm not always buying $ 200.00 worth of items.

Poor Tom Seleck

I quit wanting to see him after he started making those reverse mortgages commercials and saying with all seriousness " This is not my first rodeo." Then making all those faces that was supposed to be convincing. He was great in An Innocent Man.

Believe it or not, I wrote that after seeing some tangerines in a grocery store. I had been listening to some oldies on you tube or tic toc the night before so it kind of hit me. I found out last night that someone else beat me to it but the words are different. It was bound to happen. I wouldn't have posted if I had known that. Check out The Day The Music Died/ American Pie.
