This first one is a macro picture of a Crab Spider taken with my Olympus FE-26.
The second one is From Hurricane Irene when she hit the coast of RI. The waves were huge.
The third one is a squirrel that figured out if he comes to the second floor roof he might get goodies to eat

I snapped this photo quickly because the bird was not a willing participant and am not sure what type of bird it really is.. Im hoping someone might know.
I also took a picture of a bug that looks like a lady bug (not sure also what kind it is)
And there is a spider not quite sure if it is a Brown Recluse or not but it held me hostage in a bathroom for a few minutes

Thank You so much for the comment. I was a distance away believe it or not. Thank god for infinity zoom on the Kodak M420. Or I would not have taken those pictures.

My son and I were walking in Diamond Hill Park in Rhode Island when we came across these fellows on the shore near the water falls.
I'm not sure what kind of snakes these are, but they were eating fish out of the water.

I was walking through the woods when this waterfall caught my eye. I used a Sony Cybershot DSC W80 point and shoot camera.

I use an Olympus Fe26 ($189.00 but is discontinued I think),
point and shoot ( great for super Macro shots).
A Kodak M420 (about $125.00 or so), for normal shots and infinity shots.
Both can take great pictures but also
can drive you mad if you have to adjust them.
My boyfriend found a Sony Cybershot DSC-W80
which I have yet to try.
I will be posting a picture or two either before
I go to bed or tomorrow sometime.

I just joined today and wanted to say hi to everyone. I guess I can tell a bit about myself.
I'm a 45 year old mom with a 4 year old son. I love to take pictures and it all started when my Dad asked me to go to the cemetery he worked at to see if it was haunted (it was by the way), and he got me my first digital camera. I have been trying to take great pictures with the three point and shoot cameras I have.. They are as follows
Kodak easy share M420 10 mp
Olympus FE 26 12 mp
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 (this is new my fiance just found it for me).
