No snow at my place for Christmas this year...just thick and mysterious fog.

This tree was growing at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park in Colorado. A few weeks after we visited, there was a terrible fire (2013) and 90% of the park was destroyed. I have often wondered if this tree is still standing. Stunted and twisted by the wind, I hope it survived.

Too cold today to go outside and get a better pic of anything. My plants are very thankful to stay inside right now. 25 degrees with wind today, but the forecast is lower 70's later this week.

Yesterday when I was in the check-out line at the grocery store, the man in front of me purchased 2 cases of a beer I had never heard of. I asked him if it was good, and to my absolute surprise he said, "Yes! Want to try one?" and proceeded to rip open one of the cases to give me a beer! This was so unexpected and so delightful! Here is a pic of the can of beer he gave me. The beer itself wan't that great, but the generosity and unexpected gift was over the top! May we all perform unexpected acts of kindness this week.

Hello! My name is Wynd, and I only recently joined UHH. I like the idea of a Christian Photography group, and have subscribed to it.

I hope I'm doing this correctly. Here is a shot of a robin's nest and egg that I kept from last spring. She made the nest on my front porch, laid the egg, and then disappeared.
