SilverFast 9 SE Plus Software
I received SilverFast with my film/slide scanner (Plustek) but found it needlessly clumsy and complex. Moved to VueScan instead and never looked back. VueScan is excellent negative/slide software.

"Photographicness" of the image

What's with the Swiftie blizzard?
Can one of you MAGA dudes please explain to me why the MAGA world has gone all snowflake (to blizzard proportions) over the Swift-Kelce affair? I've never seen such legions of grown men so massively threatened by a 110-pound woman; a generation of men so utterly unmanned by skinny chick with a beefy boyfriend. Please help me understand.

This is the problem with AI, and it's only going to get worse
It's only going to get worse as the technology gets better. Truth is getting obliterated in imagery much as it already has in politics. Digital authentication schemes are being developed and implemented, but there's little doubt that fakery will stay ahead of the truth. It always has and likely always will.
