In fact, I'd suggest the OP remove that link lest some unsuspecting person click it. Seriously - it's probably a malware site and you can describe the issue without posting the link.

I second that. Clemente21 is a fool for posting it and I concur that the admin should kill this thread.

Correction: if a white cop k**ls a violent black criminal, ALL B****S WILL THINK ALIKE.

This is what trumpism has done to all of these trumpublicans: normalized r****m. And what's truly horrible here is that you don't have so much as a clue what you've actually said here. And welcome back to the 1930s.

I received SilverFast with my film/slide scanner (Plustek) but found it needlessly clumsy and complex. Moved to VueScan instead and never looked back. VueScan is excellent negative/slide software.

You might want to get in touch with your local Audubon Society (they may have changed their name by now). They'll be able to help you with this.

There are many things that make images look photographic. I could probably list ten or more but I wont cuz I anticipate seeing such things in the replies. But I will briefly mention a few examples just to clarify the question.

Its not a question about techniques that promote or produce "photographicness" but only a question of what aspects or qualities within the image are especially photographic in nature.

For instance:
• Display, even enhancement, of texture.
• Depictions of motion.
• Subject is "tranformed" by the light.

Follow-up question: How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? <Yawn>

When you elevate mediocrity (Swift), you diminish greatness (ie, Celine, Holiday, Callas, etc).....talking talent, not marketing to you Teenie Boppers

It's not about talent. Never was. It's about women with power and influence. And about men who can't handle that.

You know, name-calling as a form of argumentation is normally outgrown by about the age nine. Among the well-adjusted, that is.

There's a new term for those fragile right-wingers who lose their s**t at the mere mention of Taylor Swift. We call 'em Broflakes.

Carry on.

Can one of you MAGA dudes please explain to me why the MAGA world has gone all snowflake (to blizzard proportions) over the Swift-Kelce affair? I've never seen such legions of grown men so massively threatened by a 110-pound woman; a generation of men so utterly unmanned by skinny chick with a beefy boyfriend. Please help me understand.

It's only going to get worse as the technology gets better. Truth is getting obliterated in imagery much as it already has in politics. Digital authentication schemes are being developed and implemented, but there's little doubt that fakery will stay ahead of the truth. It always has and likely always will.
