Wow the Constellation. Still remember the day my dad going to the US for his advanced training in 1963 and he left on the Constellation (I didn't know its name then). It was a TWA plane. When they started the engines the black smoke scared me.

FYI, Dad had almost 20,000 hours on the TWA Connie and there is a restored one in Kansas City, Mo.. He was a TWA Captain. I happened to fly from O'Hare in Chicago to Kansas City on the last Connie flight on TWA in 1966. It was a great airplane in it's time. Steve Chambers TWA retired Captain

Have her look at FASTONE. It's a free download and will probably do everything she will ever need. I've used it for years with pretty good success. If she doesn't need much beyond the basics, she should try it. She isn't out much if she needs more. I've not used Lightroom or Photoshop beyond Photoshop Elements. I find, for me, Fastone to be quick, easy to use and very effective for basic editing. Steve

You won' be sorry owning the R7. With the eye detection, IBIS and faster auto-focus; it's perfect for birding. Nothing will change much with your choice of lenses. I'M saving for the 100-500 Canon with the 1.4 teleconveter, but my present Tammron 150-600 with a cheap adaptor takes wonderful bird pics. Always something.........

I have the Canon R7 with the adapted Tammron 150-600. This (for me) a great combination for birds. It's an amazing camera and well worth the wait. It is pretty heavy. If weight is a factor this may not be for you. If not???
