Thanks for your comment. I'm only pushing 70 years young but also have difficulty with my left hand which adds to the problem of keeping my hand still. that's why using the lightweight camera, using only my right hand only is paramount.

Although I've been following "Ugly" for some time, I just registered in order to reply to a recent post. Always loved to take/create photos but 10 years ago an accident led to being partially handicapped. Due to my current condition, I use a walker or (polio) type crutches. Needless to say, this has put a damper on my photographic style as I can no longer bend, climb, or walk long distances. Are there others in the group with similar problems? Most of my photos are from a sitting position. I've been using the Nikon Z50 for a couple of years since it is lightweight as I also have problems with my left hand. The spinal cord injury led to several issues! Not hear to complain, I'm happy I can do what I can. Wishing everyone well and Happy Pictures.

I am new to posting but have been taking photographs since 1964 and reading your site for years.
The question I have is I wonder if anyone is else having the same trouble with their Nikon 50 battery or the camera. The issue is that the battery show 3 bars on the camera's view finder, but when I go to charge it up to make sure it really has a full charge, it takes 3-4 hours on three bars for the battery charger to stop flashing to show that the battery has been fully charged up. The reason this is a problem is because when I am out in the field and see three bars I think that I have a fully charged battery but I have been burned more than once with the camera's battery dying abruptly. So I am not sure if this is the camera's problem of not sensing the battery properly or something being wrong with the battery itself. Any guidance?

I also had problems with my Z50 battery and called Nikon's customer service as to how to remedy the problem. Forgot the exact explanation but I think you need to use the plug charger (vs. the cable) for the first couple times before using the cable. However the charge still does not seem long enough.
