Winter finally arrives in north Idaho; drone photo over the Priest River.
This was with the DJI Phantom 4 Pro. Now flying the Air 2S.
Drone photo: sunrise over the town of Priest River, Idaho, with the Pend Oreille River in the distance.
I'm wondering if the foreground is too dark. What do you think?
This beautiful refuge is well worth a visit if you are ever in north Idaho.

Thank you Joe. The Western Larch and the deciduous trees and shrubs came together in their fall display...doesn't happen every year.
Beautiful fall season near Priest River, ID
Just getting started with black & white. This aspen grove is just east of Glacier National Park.
I have found Neo to be equal to, and for my workflow and the filters I use, better than ON1 RAW 2023. I was never comfortable with Lightroom.
Yes Neo's DAM sucks, but used in conjunction with FastStone, image management is efficient.
I have used Luminar since 2018 and purchased Neo at the one time price with all extensions included...there have been several free program and extension updates over the past few months..
For me, Neo is a very useful and cost effective photo editing and processing suite!
An interior designer is evaluating several of my photos for possible licensing - one will be chosen to be printed and framed for each of the 36 rooms of a local resort - same image in each room. Required size is 60" x 21". I have cropped, resized, upscaled, but have no idea what a licensing fee should be.
So I need some advice regarding licensing - what value do I place on my image?
Thanks in advance for any and all input.
We were fortunate to spend a week on the island of Kauai recently. The first two photos are of the Napali coast, the second two of Waimea Canyon, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific". I could spend many more weeks on the island and not run out of photo opportunities.

First, I give them all the kudos possible for making changes to Neo while being in war-torn Ukraine but I hate their sales model.
The latest version of Neo adds on extensions with the first one being a pretty weak version of HDR. No problem but unlike almost every other post processing software they charge for it? Photoshop, Lightroom , On1 and Affinity Photo all have more powerful HDR which are parts of their basic products. In the meantime all of the fixes to Luminar 3, Luminar 4, Luminar AI haven’t happened.
They hinted in the release that MORE extensions will be coming..
And so no one blows me up - if you have their subscription the HDR extension was free...

HDR Merge is very nice! Result is not near the "blowout" result from other apps I have tried...much more natural. If you need the photo more "dramatic", use the tools right in Neo.

Looks like you had a very shallow depth of field. What was the F stop?
f/11, 1/100 sec, ISO 500, 200mm
Lots of noise also.
For some reason it was difficult to get a sharp photo of this wildflower...hopefully this does justice to the exceptional beauty. Found in north Idaho, northeast of Bonners Ferry.
