Thank you for the comment, as it is greatly appreciated. I am very well aware that this is not an ideal image, I work with water is provided by Mother Nature.
I am fully aware of the "halo" above the mountain. Thank you for the comment as it is greatly appreciated.
This is a late afternoon photo of El Capitan, not to be confused with the grant wall in Yosemite National Park, California. The Navajo name is Agathlan. El Capitan/Agathlin is a volcanic plug. Several million years ago a volcano erupted, While the volcano became dormant the volcano was eroded away and all that remained was the cooled lava that formed the rock formation that you see in the photograph. The "plug" is much harder than the rock that formed the volcano.
El Capitan is about 25 million years old and is 1,436 feet tall. Sometimes El Capitan is called Church Rock. The direction is to the North. Its location is between Keyenta, Arizona along the highway then lye would take to get to the entrance of Monument Valley.
Moran Lake is in the Valley of 10 Peaks, although you can see only 7 of the peaks, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. The lake is glacially fed.
Unfortunately Mother Nature was not cooperating with me when I made the photograph. It is easy to get to as it is less then 9 miles from Lake Louise.

I find it very interesting that people cause me of being not politically correct. It so happens I am 12% native American myself. I had a great grandmother who was born in Oakloma, and is married right hear in Green Bay about 2 miles from my house.
Your Highness also works. Thank you for the input. as it is greatly appreciated
As I have no training in archeology I can only apply the information that I have been told or find on line. It was NOY my intention to offend Native Americans and have a great grandmother who is a Native American. She was born in Oklahoma in her grave is about two miles from me in Green Bay.
