Hello all! I want to purchase a camera strap to allow for carrying my camera.
I have a 70D with battery grip and want to be able to swing it up to use it when I'm out walking around taking outdoor photos. I know there are different types but am wondering which ones I should consider & should I buy some Canon or B&H or Adorama or where? Thanks fo your input!

I had bought a strap at B & H that anchors under the camera. It felt unstable and didn't like the feel of the camera hanging upside down but wanted to be able to swing it up to take pictures. I just bought a strap that anchors under the camera and one strap anchors on the side of the camera. The part that goes under the camera attaches to your tripod. Because the part doesn't fit my tripod I bought a adapter. Maybe this will work for you.

Great Capture. To answer your question do you have Lightroom. In light room you can use an adjustment brush to lighten that area.

If you have a chance to take a picture of same statue again, it would be a good time to use a fill flash.

It was a real eagle but thanks anyway.

If you used the raw format, yes, easily. If you used JPG not so much.

I am sure there are some on here that will try - and it can be done - but often in cases like this the cure is worse than the disease. Personally., I think it looks natural and the light area has good detail. I would leave it alone.

You could select the bright area and then use levels or curves to bring it down some - trying a correction on the tiny image you have here is not the best, but I did try the select and Levels method and it did work better than I expected. The "secret" is to not go too far.

Give it a shot. Worst thing that can happen is that you do not
like it.

You may want to ask your question in the Post Processing forum section.

I took this picture of an eagle and the sun is on his head. Is there an adjustment if Lightroom or photoshop that I can darken that area?

You haven't told us what your present back-up camera is to your d7000. Is it crop sensor or full frame?

FWIW, I'm an advocate of the 'one full frame/one crop sensor' idea. One for landscapes/low light, the other for wildlife/action. The d810 is top-of-the-line. I disagree that it would be "too much camera" for you, but maybe you should consider the d750?

I don't currently have a back upÂ…..my iPhone lol

D, why would you keep the 7000? Do you need an expensive doorstop(many seem to need them)?!
Forget the back-up body thing. Worry about that when you need one.
Get rid of the 7000 while there is still someone foolish enough to buy it! Unless you have too much money!!

When I travel I like to have two cameras. I use my good camera with the lens I think I will be using and the old one with the other lens. I'm going on safari and I will have the zoom on but sometimes our of nowhere something will appear and I don't have time to change lenses. I am going to Namibia and the desert has too much sand to be changing lenses. So instead of missing the shot because I can't change the lens I use the old one.

The question is, what do you do with the pictures? How big do you print? Or do you only post your shots on FB, Instagram?

I travel a lot and make books of my vacations or print pictures to display in my house. No bigger than 8.5 x 11

I have both full frame (D750) and a D7100. My recommendation would be to go with the D500. I'm thinking of getting one for sports and wildlife, and using the D750 mainly for low light. If the D500 had existed when I bought the D750, I probably would not have gone full frame at all.

What don't you like about the full frame?
