They are by Nikon for warranty work. I had a Z9 brick during a firmware update. They told me to send it to California. They took two weeks to tell me they would only fix it for $5oo+ and then I had to send it to Canada. Canada Nikon doesn't accept calls from the US. The camera store had to mediate.
All on manual. I included some sharp images from before the problem started. I certainly have my share of operator errors, but when 700+ shots are all out of focus, it seems unlikely to be the cause.
Thanks to all. I will be sending the lens in to Nikon Canada after I take a few more post updating the lens firmware to verify no change. Nikon US support was helpful this morning and suggested same.
