Aww those were the days pixbyjnjphotos. I'm glad the photos could bring back some memories for you. I always wished that I could have been born back in the 1800's... but then again my passion in life would probably been something else other than photography. Thanks for stopping by and maybe I will get back into posting photos on here once again. Hope your day has been a wonderful one too.

I remember those days. I went to school in one of these for my first three years of schooling. Great discipline, no gangs, a lot of individualized instruction. Your photos are great. Brings back a lot of memories. Keep up the great work and have a GREAT DAY!

Thanks Montana Trace... but it is an old one room school house. A man told me it was Kirk School. I never tried it in the sepia style but I am sure it would look good that way as well.

Nice job of capturing the soul of this old church. How's it look in sepia?

Those were the days...

I just love it when I come across an old one room school house, old church, barn, or house. Capturing those special places and things throughout my travels along the old dirt roads of America.

This is the old Kirk School, located northwest of Chillicothe, Missouri USA.

I took lots of pictures during my last visit to Mt Rushmore, including this one at an unusual angle.

Very nice framing...... I've been there back in 2006 and even climbed up a little trail on the back side.

Went out for some photos of the fresh snow... The images I envisioned I could not find.. I did however manage to find a couple of subjects. I have shot these before, but never in the winter....

The caboose was an hour pre dawn....

I really like both of your photos..... Just don't know much about photoshop and fixing photos to look like your first one. But it is very nice.

I love the snow and barns.... you can capture my heart with those for sure.

Thanks for sharing them.
