My go-to pocket camera is a Lumix ZS200. In fact, I took it on a European River cruise last summer and left my mirrorless cameral with several lenses at home. As I have gotten older, I don't like to lug a bunch of equipment. I may only take the pocket cameral this summer as well on another cruise.

Lovely set of pictures. Most are familiar from visits to St. Augustine, but I have never seen the basilica - maybe next trip.

If you are into glass, Corning Glass Museum in Corning is a must. Ithaca is a typical college town with both Ithaca College and Cornell University. Taughannack Falls State Park is nearby. Geneva is on the northern shore of Lake Seneca and is the home of Hobart and Wm. Smith Colleges (my alma mater). While there are motels and airbnbs in Geneva, two upscale resorts are Geneva-on-the-Lake and Belhurst Castle. The dining rooms at the Belhurst are lovely. I prefer the one in the old castle. If you are into wine or whiskey, there are local wineries and distilleries throughout the Finger Lakes.

Even though I spent a lot of money on a sophisticated mirrorless camera and lenses, my go-to camera still is a Lumix point and shoot ZS 200. It has a one inch sensor and takes beautiful pictures, which are fine for me as a non-professional photographer.

If I were ever to return to film photography, I would grab my Nikkormat that I bought as an underguate student 50+ years ago and dragged with me during my junior year living in Vienna.

I am probably tooooo old to begin my photography journey but I am Robert Bennett, 54 year old retired and bored guy in Palm Coast Fl. I have traveled all over North America doing hunting with my dad. I was disabled in a car crash in 2010, so am now retired/disabled but still bored and have the itch to do SOMETHING. I can't hunt anymore, but still want to capture the majesty of wildlife. I have been watching training videos after videos on my camera and settings, read e-books I have subscribed to and just want to get out and get to clicking! I am sure my photos will not be worthy at first but eventually want to travel to the mid west/yellowstone area and photo some of the HUGE majestic animals!! Nice to meet you all and hope to learn more from your informative posts and critiques.

Welcome to the forum. I am a fellow Floridian in Tampa. You definitely are not too old to take up photography. Don't worry about "worthiness." Enjoy photography for your own pleasure.

Those were l-a-r-g-e cars - don't think it would fit in my one car garage today. A friend's father had one that was a few years newer - '65 or '66. I remember he used to make us wipe our shoes if it was raining or snowing, yet he smoked cigars in the car - LOL!

Great collection of photographs of small British cars.
Years ago, as high school students, a first cousin and I bought a used Sunbeam - a fixer-upper. Neither of us were very adept a car repairs. It spent more time in my Aunt and Uncle's garage than on the road. Finally, we were "read the riot act" and forced to have it towed away...

While I agree that the photograph of the leaves is an interesting capture, I especially like the second photograph of the detail of the tree.

Love it! I often think black and white photography is more interesting that color.

I have seen the American flag left outside and displayed in the rain. I questioned it, but it seems that there is no definitive answer regarding weather.

I think you are correct. It is a ''55. The front grill of the '56 was a bit different.
