The rose reminded me of the quilting that my mother and sisters did when i was young. krypizza photo was so good I looked for the stitches.

If I really knew what I was doing I would add the stitches for you to find. Thanks for the complement.

One more image from the same trip. A Nicole Rose, I think.

This Floribunda has white petals with cherry red edges and is a shorter variety, only reaching 2 to 3 feet in height. It was introduced in 1985.

I do like the rosy reflection. But I too think the water is a bit flat. My quess and it is purely a guess is because the water looks gray.

Yep, I agree. Hopefully the Spoonbill and reflection caught your focus first. Thanks for your comments!

Topaz can be fun! The background has come out a bit dull, was it burned-out in the original? Might be worth posting the original so we can see how much things have changed? I remember I couldn’t leave Topaz alone when I first got it, it’s a lot of fun!

This is the original photo saved as a Jpeg. When utilizing studio 2 I seem to get into the "artsy" or "painting" tools. I envision a cloudy and misty morning with a slight break in the clouds allowing the sun to peak through onto the Spoonbill. I agree with you on the background but I'm okay with that as I wanted the focus to be on the Spoonbill. I appreciate your comments and time. Thanks!

Reminds me of shilling merry go around you used to find at some playgrounds.

Probably banned as a physical danger to kids today but we always enjoyed a fun merry go around growing up. Tried to go fast enough for someone to fall off but never happened. Now spinning the bottle was totally different!

Now we know why DDT was band.

I have the great Trio trio + 1 and Studio 2. I MUST get off my lazy rump and learn the wonders of Studio 2. Thank you krypizza for the get-with-it push.

I'm still learning the ins and outs of Studio 2 but seems you can accomplish many of the PSE actions but they are easier in Studio 2. Thanks and you welcome!
