I would like a recommendation for 3rd party ink supplier where the ink won't clog (particularly black) when printer isn't used for several weeks at a time. Printer being used is a Canon TS9000 series. Thanks

I WAS using Costco's refill station and refilled ink cartridges 4-5 times each before they wore out at $9-$11 each, but Costco's stopped refilling cartridges along with in warehouse photo printing. Sam's remanufactured ink cartridges worked very well also when you can get them. I am at the present using up HP new, old ink cartridges I keep in stock just in case as they are out of date now, but still work and also bought HP new, out of date cartridges on eBay, the low capacity ones cheap and wish I had bought more as I bet it was HP selling out of date low end cartridges as they worked GREAT and sold hundreds of them from one listing.

I'd recommend using your printer at least once a week just to keep any cartridge in working condition just by printing a test page with color on it also. I have gone off on trips and came back in 5-6 weeks later and it would take a 2nd page printing to get the printers working again as I use 2 printers in case one quits and take turns using them for printing shipping labels and a color packing slip. You also have to go into your HP printer web site to check in the box for your printer to NOT remember what cartridges it used so refilled cartridges would still work and it ain't easy to find that page as going onto the Internet to find it works. The Feds made HP do that by permitting using refilled cartridges, but HP does not make it easy to find your printer's web page.

Use to be you could buy an HP printer on sale for the cost of a 2 pack of ink cartridges, but HP greed has taken over as the printers cost TWICE and more what they use to along with the overpriced ink cartridges. Seems CEOs are not happy being mult-millionaires, they want to become billionaires at the expense of everyone else!!!
