Ring Neck Pheasants at that "awkward" stage I guess. Unless they moult ? Faces only a mother could love. A bad hair day on steroids? RNPs at the garbage dump. Not at all a good quality shot but it made me laugh and there was only a moment to "grab" it in between other things. Not sure where to put it, so hope this qualifies as "close up" ?

Out behind the Shopper's Drug Mart, just next to the river and overflow pond, gulls riding the thermals on a windy, cloudy day.
