Thanks for the advice. I haven't tried the legal route; It's not my nature to make a big deal out of this matter.
I have sent at least four letters with my 'phone number, street address and email, all with not response.
You're right, the camera s not of great value, but it could have been and yes, maybe they just lost it. In one of the few conversations I did have, Chris said "maybe it's at home in my workshop." Nothing further.
My purpose here is to merely post my own experience which is supported by others.

Their 'phone line is erratic at best. If they've re-opened, why haven't they fixed or returned my camera?
I stand by my post and I've been getting the "facts" for a year.

I reluctantly must say that this shop is unreliable and effectively stole my Nikon D-50 that I sent them for repair.
I had sporadic contact with Chris at the shop and he acknowledged receiving the camera but never contacted me again after many email messages, texts and letters.
Not trustworthy or honest in my opinion.

Does anybody have experience with Camera Repair Service of York, Pennsylvania?
