Good morning from a 42F and clear Shoreline area. No plans again today, so hopefully will get on with some knitting at some point.

DS has brought home a 6 month old puppy, so Mr. Ric and I were doing a bit of dog sitting yesterday while DS was at work. He says she was a friend's dog who needed to re-home her and he's supposed to be finding a new home for her. I think she nabbed his heart and he's thinking of keeping her. He has no money to support a dog!!! She's not allowed in the house because she isn't reliable about not peeing in here, so when she's outside on a very long leash and all by herself, she's doing a lot of whining and barking. I'm sure the neighbors are not too happy with us at the moment. I took her for a walk yesterday afternoon so she could get some exercise and we played throw the ball with her when I returned, so she had a nice nap after that. Will see what comes of all this.

I’ve been waiting all day for my chemist 🧑‍🔬 delivery 🚚 but he’s been now…..trouble is there could be anytime between 10 —5pm……well, I got it in my head o needed to go to the bathroom 🚽 but did I have time? 🕰️ I didn’t dare go. The later it got the more I needed it. But…worry not. Just when I was thinking of going he came to the door. 🚪 3.30. I’m so relieved now he’s gone in more ways than one…..

I have no news. 🗞️ again. So stay strong 💪🏿 safe, and polite. My thoughts are out to sisters Lisa and jinx. Luv yawl. See you tomorrow where I might not get on line, I shall be at Stephen’s tomorrow. They are talking about the hot tub 🛁 this weekend. They’re aren’t, all there in their minds. I’m still into slippers and cardigans. I’ll take a sudoku book.📕 xx

Good evening, the roof is sheathed and just awaiting it's metal. I believe they are going to start tomorrow. I put wood away non stop all day, starting at 6 a.m and had 3 cords put in the shed by 3 p.m. Another year done, hope I can continue a few more. DD suggested a heat pump. I been researching them and asking others opinions for a few years, not sure how valuable it would be in a house that doesn't have insulation in the walls. These old houses aren't easy to insulate after the fact with their tight lath and plaster/ fire barrier walls. You can get individual pumps for each room, might consider that in the future. Beautiful sunny day, tomorrow back to rain.

I’m feeling a bit brighter today. I haven’t been to Wendy’s, I just couldn’t pull myself together, and she wasn’t very good either, so we left it for a week. I have actually been videoing with Josephine. It’s so nice to see her again. I’m not in at the weekend so I’d have missed that and it must be about 3 since I saw her. She’s got some beautiful yarn 🧶 mohair and a mixture of something else. And she’s shown me the pattern she is going to do and it looks gorgeous.

Cassie came this morning.🌅 there was a cufuffal where she parked her car 🚙 because her parking spot isn’t there anymore. Just 6 bloody (yes bloody) and I’m being polite fence posts stuck up in the air. And of course Andrew needed to be out and it was like playing dominoes. Oh I do hope Stephen doesn’t kick off on Friday when he comes down here. Because the man who’s bought the land was always a terror when he was young. He’s a year older that Stephen, anyway I’m not going there. So, as I was saying Cassie came this morning and I went into Karen’s while Andrew took the dog 🐶 down the beach 🏖️. It’s freezing here today, the rest of the country are supposed to be basking, we’ll, not us…..

Jinx,I’m thinking of you again. You WILL start to cope with things when you are ready. Thinking lots about you. Lisa, i think 🤔 you are doing very well. Haven’t heard from Angela for a while, is she ok? 👍 I’ve just looked out of my window and it looks like the sea mist 🌫️,fog is coming in…..if I die and get a chance to come back I don’t want this north east coast. It’s terrible. 😢
