People think of Alabama as hot and humid. All the time! I did as well until I moved here in 2018. We in the Tennessee Valley get 4 seasons. Sometimes we get snow that sticks. Here is January 11, 2021.

Thank you! I understand what you are saying too. I only get to MA once or twice a year. They have a giant wreath hanging on it during the Christmas season. In the few years I have shot the church it's been one or the other!
Thank y'all for the kind words!
Oh great thanks for that. Gotta love us newbies, eh?
Thank you! Are you from MA?
I love this old church, and the reflections you get in Thomas Basin (part of the Wachusett Reservoir). I wanted to get my camera right down on the water to shoot up at the church. It's a cool perspective, but too difficult to maneuver! Next trip there I have a new technique to try using the wireless remote app and a small tripod.

Hi all! I learned of this group from a gentleman I met at Wheeler Dam in Rogersville, AL. I've live in Huntsville for 2+ years now having relocated from Folsom, CA. I enjoy nature and wildlife photography the most. I love trying to shoot the Milky Way and would love to find dark sky areas here in northern Alabama. I guess I was spoiled in NorCal. I'm attaching one I took outside of Auburn, AL a month or so ago. I look forward to being part of this group!
