I guess I am not smart enough to understand what "conjoining of Xi and Bite-Me" means? I could be derogatory or it could be a compliment. I am just too old or too unsophisticated to know. Still looking for photos of the conjuncture. So far nothing has come across that is worthwhile. For such an unusual and highly published event one would think there would be many photos flowing into this site just to show off ability to capture and render.

Forgive me for changing subject but Has anyone captured good photo of conjuncture?

I have a couple of sunsets from across the nation I have taken over the past few years I would like to share. Today these are from the OBX (Outer Banks of North Carolina).

It can adapt to a lot of environments. Strong competitiveness, it can promot vegetative growth through rhizomes. White snakeroot is a poisonous plant with moderate toxicity. it contains tremetol a topic compound.

You are not out of touch. I must be setting senile. While I checked with my SkyView App program and another both told me it was Venus, but now they have reversed their decision. Last night I verified that what I was seeing rising in the East (southeast) was Mars. I apologize--thanks for keeping me straight. I really don't know how that happened that I got so confused.

I verified Venus as planet I was photographing via for one, SkyView Lite. Tonight I hope to do stop-down of aperture and lengthening of exposure time then maybe Telescope photos.

It was Venus as it traversed the sky. Tomorrow night I will put camera on manual and stop down the f-stops to as low as I can go and prolong exposure. I should get a more focused photo. I used several Sky identity programs to determine the planet's identity--definitely Venus the brightest in sky presenting in San Antonio, TX in the Eastern Sky.

The out of focus image I presented to initiate this blog is Venus. So far I am not knowledgable about about this issue enough to know why it cannot be focused. Apparently some on this blog agree that it seems always blurry. I will show a progression of photos leading up to the most magnification I could get with my Nikon Coolpix P900 camera. Tomorrow I will get out my telescope. Perhaps with the P900 and the 2X Barlow I can get something better. Again I need to read an explanation as to why it is always out of focus. It looks like a coin of some kind.

I don’t know what this Photo (below) is showing, but it was very prominent last night though a bit hazy (out of focus view). I will have to research more. I will see if it still remains in orbit tonight. It does not appear to be the ISS (International Space Station). I will have to ask some of my Astronomy experts. An alien Spacecraft? This object was seen close to the moon and Jupiter.
