My name is Anne. I've looked a bit at hedgehog, but just registered yesterday so I could give a possible solution to a member seeking marketing info. I'm a paint artist, and take photos mainly as visual reference, but have become more interested in getting better at making good photos, especially now that co-vid has pushed most venues onto the internet, thereby requiring more photography to enter. Even if I end up never sending my own but using either pro photographers or a good lab for a great scan, I learn a lot about what to look for here and from a new friend who has been a pro photographer for years.

Did a few art shows in the 10x10 tent by the beach. Transportation, set up, potentially bad weather(wind, rain, etc. in addition, pieces get banged upon transport. Max sales 2 or 3 works at $250-$400.

max size 20"x30". seascapes, landscapes, urban, anything unusual. I am a colorist. settled in on 13x19 prints,
in a quality frame 18x24. very transportable, and large enough for impact. using quality Hahnemuhle fine art paper, Canon pro platinum, and a Canon Pro 100 printer. need a website and suggestions to attract customers.
Making ales few and far between.

Have you looked at Art Storefronts? They seem to be moving a lot of photos. I say "seem to" because it's all about marketing. But that's where we fall down if we don't really have a firm grasp, and they have a good, solid format. They are teaching you but also providing you with a sound calendar to follow. Check it out. artstorefronts.com
