Spell check got me, should read attainable.

I believe you got it right the first time. If most Americans can't afford to buy one then it is unattainable.

Good on you, but many people have overcome wh**ever negatives you seem to have. They're selling like gangbusters here! Also, in IL where the incentives are tough to leave on the table. The new owners are very happy with their decisions to buy EV.

Support Rivian!

Whenever we have as many charging stations as gas pumps, the range on one charge is 400 miles or more and the charging time is ten minutes or less I'll buy one. I'm 78 years old now so do you think those three things will happen in my lifetime?

I'm not saying EV's are the problem. I'm just saying electric companies need to upgrade to meet the demand. Right now there are too many negatives for me to have any desire to purchase one.

How about upgrading the power grid and other infrastructure before we put tens of thousands more EV's on the road?

He makes a valid point. Maui is a small island with little infrastructure. There is only a regional airport so he'd have to arrive by helicopter from Honolulu. His vehicles would have to be brought in, but I don't see how. You can't sling-load the beast or the support vehicles. You would also take away an ambulance and multiple other support vehicles where they are sorely needed to care for the inhabitants.
I would guess that at some point he'll get there, but right now at this moment, his arrival would only serve to disrupt the rescue and recovery operations that are more important than a photo-op.

In 2006 my wife, daughter and myself flew from Chicago to Maui on a direct flight.

We do have a secular government. However, the moral basis for our laws has been found in the Bible and any number of other writings by philosophers in history, although primarily Judaeo-Christian. And the Constitution doesn't impose beliefs of one sort or the other, on anyone.

There's never been a "separation of Church and State". That is a canard made up based on an obscure letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to a Connecticut church. It's been bastardized by Liberal-Progressives in an attempt to prove their point.

We do have a problem, in that the large influx of Muslims to the United States creates conflicts with their belief in Muslim Sharia laws and acceptance of secularism in government.

Yes, I know we have a secular government. My wording could have been better.

Even though I'm a Christian I believe we should have a secular government. Religious beliefs should not be imposed upon anyone. On the other hand I don't believe Christians should be required to perform duties that are against their Christian beliefs that they believe would offend their God.

My understanding is that the push back on this song is prompted by the images in the background and allegations from the left that the lyrics promote pro-gun and pro-lynching tactics. This is about as far as you can get from the point of the song which is to convey that people in small towns are s**k of the violence they see elsewhere, and they are taking a stand against it. The left, of course, don't see it that way.

You're exactly right. They want to nit pick to find h**e and r****m in every message generated by those on the Right. It's a fault they'll never overcome. The determination is too great.

The movie was rated PG-13, so maybe taking a 9 year old wasn't the best choice.

D**g shows in school for nine year olds is also not a good choice but those in charge disagree. Allowing males to parade naked in front of sixteen year old girls in the girls locker room is also not a good choice but again those in charge disagree. It seems those speaking out about such things are fighting a losing battle.
