All good information, sadly this isn't an ME-262 as it does have a prop. (unless there are prop versions out there).
Looks the same to me. Literally in the exact same spot with the same daytime shadowing, so assuming all shot at the same time.
And another of the same shot in 1997 at the airport. TGIF all.
Awesome girl (I hesitate to even call them models with your work, to me they just represent really pretty girls that existed at that time period, we all knew them, they lived next-door, sat next to us in class, were really nice and friendly with beautiful smiles, dressed and acted normal, and somehow we are told they can't exist anymore). Keep the archives rolling so I can feel sad and old AND happy and reminisce simultaneously.
Same model/shoot as my last Film Friday post as I continue to scan some more old negatives. Pretty model at an airport circa 1997.
Take all my last 5-6 comments and add Ditto for this one. Where the hell did I leave my keys for the Way Back Machine.
Nice Jim, seriously, get the best scans you can get and make a book, I would buy it! (I know, all sorts of legal thorns, but I would buy it!)
That is just a very, very pretty lady. Nice job Jim. Keep posting all your "unobtainable" body type images of normal women from the past.
Agree with the nude head switching. But major quibble is I don't like the new head as it looks prefect and digital and smooth and the original is grainy and "vintage" feel. Little jarring to mix them together.

I like the first one. I understand that it is an old shot but if a little (only a little) of the colour bias were removed and the image sharpened slightly, this would be great. I love the old feel. And I like the conglomeration on the left (whatever that is). "My view" is based solely on minor improvements and whether you have the software/inclination to do so . Very atmospheric shot though. And very indicative of that era.

Yea, I originally did remove some of the color tint and saturation, but maybe could use a bit more on the reds/warms (probably why I like the B&W one better). Maybe the new one is better? Interesting in looking back at old color slides how they each seemed to have a bigger color bias than I remembered at the time (at least when scanned). The image is a bit soft, the slide is a bit soft, but I also think that my "slide duplication" method may have introduced a "not perfect" focus. I am rushing through a bunch of old slides (travel, models etc) and 85% quality is fine for this project, maybe if I find some ones that I love I will spend the more than 5 seconds scanning them and nail the focus a bit better. The conglomeration on the left is actually the reflection of her dress and leg in the reflective part of a plane.
As always, thanks for feedback. Sure the site will see more of this pretty lady in the coming weeks.
Found an old binder with a lot of my early years model work and for some reason got motivated and am starting to scan most of them for the archives. Set up a bellows and my camera to do the scanning so will see how that works out.
One of the few film era shoots I shot in color, one cause it cost so much more than self loaded B&W, and two, back then you were never quite sure where to take the film to develop. Anyway, some local club shoot at a small airport with this very nice model. Circa 1997, Fuji Provia 100 Film with a Canon 1n camera, unknown lens or settings. Have a great Friday all.
Including the BW version cause I think I may like it a bit better.
Nice lighting, shadow and framing.
Not even sure why I am writing this other than it crossed my mind and I apparently am not filtering today. The images are technically fine. But when I open this post 10 seconds after opening Jim's last post, all I want to do is invent a time machine.
