Guess Pagans were/are everywhere. Still not sure of difference between Pagans & Druids .
Very very nice . Like that there is a little bit of foreground at bottom . Wish could see more on right side( back up further? Use wider lens ?) .
I use Nikon D5300 camera(s) because I really like the articulated screen on back . Other cameras also do this but some only one way not both ways . Not really knowing what is out there my question is : What Nikon or Canon cameras offer fully articulated screens . I would love to find one in full frame(although D5300 isn't) . So folx what is out there you'd recommend ??
Related Aside : I had one of these(1/2 frame if i'm thinking of right one) back when Ilford made thin film that was 72 exposures per roll . So combined I could shoot for nearly a month as i do aprox. 150x shotz a mo.
Dig the reverse vignetting on corners . Real historic photo look . Like squiggly lines in sky too . Bravo .
Vertical rather then horizontle would have given more/longer streak .
Wish the pole, people, and cars weren't in foto .
When looking at things(aka composing) I try to not see them literally. Instead I try to see them as shapes & colors & tones . I try to think abstractly . For me subject matter/content is less important then image . It is just a means to an end .
Ooops . Meant to write better photo not bigger
Brings up the philosophical question : Does more MP = bigger photo ?? Viewed on computer monitors(which these days is how most fotos are viewed) can one really honestly see difference in high MP camera versus low MP camera . Great fotos are made by photographers not cameras .
Emma E is my fave as it is less literal and more abstract by composing closer rather then at a distance .
Yeah . I used to work at Fotocare pro photo shoppe which was at the time at 170 5th ave. in the 1980's .
Great B&W usage . Type of foto that has to be B&W . Nice play of highlighted figures against black shadowy background . Somehow it conveys NYC of long ago . I know this spot well . Used to work in that neighborhood . Bravo .
Curious : Where in NJ are you located ??? I am in Manchester and also Ocean Grove .
