Thanks to all who have responded so far.

Have you actually sold metal prints (on aluminum) to customers using these companies? How do you then price your print to the customer?

And has anyone had any experience with Optimalprint? So far, they are by far the least expensive, but they make some money back up through higher shipping charges (unless you become a member of their Plus service for $20 a year, and then shipping is free).

Do it your self. Buy a good Epson or Canon wide format to take care of the first 2, and farm out the others.
You have absolute control over your printing that way. (for the first 2)

Thanks for your reply, cahale. I already do own a Canon Pro-10. And I use it for exactly the type of things you say to use it for. But I figure if I can find a good online printer to do it for the first 2, it will save me time if I have to print a lot. Regardless of that, I still need to find an online printer who can print of metal and gatorboard. And, oh yes, coasters, post cards, etc.

Finally, everyone, I forgot to say in my initial posting that I also need a source of supply for protective mailing envelopes for paper prints, and boxes for other types, like metal or gatorboard.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I know there are tons of online printing companies.

The ones I am looking for are 1) low cost compared to the others; 2) provide excellent quality; 3) can print on paper, canvas, metal, and gatorboard; 4) preferably geared to "professional" photographers who sell their landscapes, etc. themselves (or who use these companies as a fulfillment service).

I know there has been this type of discussion on the Forum within the past year, but a search only produced years' old discussions.

Thanks much.

The recent update of LR Classic does not appear to allow more than one added external editor. I have tried to put in DeNoise and Sharpen it will only take one or the other. Anyone else having this issue, or has anyone found a work around?

The correct answer is what photonoob said. If that doesn't work for you, I recommend a Youtube search.

kubota, I will sell you mine for the same price. Only difference is mine is new, still in its unopened box. Since I haven't opened it, I assume there is a package of 13x19 paper in it. If not, I will send you one. Or if you give me permission to open the box, I will check in advance. Private message me to arrange details.

I believe someone said that they are good until you try to enlarge them past a certain point and then the deficiencies start to show up. Makes sense.

It makes sense only if you believe it makes sense. Or, anything you believe is true.

Love them, Fstop. But just think what you could have done if you were using a real camera? Joke.

All four photos were taken with an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Does not surprise me in the least, genocolo (I'm in Denver). I use a Huawei Mate 20 pro, and get equally as good results.

And for those reading this, a couple of other comments commenting on your comments: 1) Let's see, I just took a raw (dng) format photo with my Huawei Mate 20pro, 76.2mp in size, with a resolution of 7280 x 5456mb, in fully manual mode, large enough to print a 15x27 at 300dpi using my rough calculation. Point: the better your cellphone the better your print. If using a 6mp cellphone, no you can't do it SOOC, but you can using Topaz Gigapixel with ease to fix that.

2) You're right, I can only do 3x optical zoom on my cell, but 5x is available on a few, and 10x is coming soon. And, ok, I give, it's more difficult to jerry-rig an nd filter to my cell.

3) Silly discussion for a change. For some types of shots obviously a DSLR is better; for others it's irrelevant (within the boundaries of a top of the line cell) in my opinion. But yes, you have to be willing to spend the money for that type of cell.

Since my fence and milky way image appears so much better in download format, I am reattaching my barn and milky way photo with download enabled so you can see how it is really supposed to look also. Meant to do this to begin with, but forgot to check the box.
