Great capture, how'd you get him to pose for this shot?
Thank you. I used to spend a lot of time at the zoo photographing the animals. It was about 105 degrees that day and she came and lay down at the window in the shade. I sat on the floor on the other side and just sat quietly and she was watching me. So I carefully placed my lens on the glass and she just lay there watching me. I felt quite a connection with her that day.
It's the weekly helicopter landing at Cartwright Air Station, Labrador bringing fresh fruit and mail to the site. Luck was with me--the radar site appears just under the bird and the rotor blades point to the corners. The colors were vibrant, too.
I think this one is my overall favorite: br url=h... (show quote)

Winner for sure. The Chimp is exhibiting human qualities that speak to us immediately. It's attractive and compelling at some level of curiosity within my conscience and I feel connected to it instantly. Animals that exhibit their unspoken communication skills to us steal our hearts and give us good reason to love them in return. Always a Joy. Nice Work.
Thank you so much! I always feel it is a privilege to photograph the animals
