Our microwaves last five or six years, which isn't great, considering the cost. Our current Farberware doesn't want to stop running, so it's time for a new one. The choices are overwhelming, and most companies offer too many models, so it's hard to find a review of one that's actually available. I'll read reviews of a recommended model, but that model is no longer available. Between the testing and the publishing, the manufacturer changed models. Is a $500 KitchenAid better than a $70 Comfee? I want one with 1000W, 1.1 Cu ft, 12" turntable. Breville seems to be the best brand, but it's not easy to find at reasonable prices.

Well, I've decided that I can't buy a microwave. They're either not reliable, don't heat well, or are too expensive. I'll just have to continue eating ice cream.

As a side note, most microwaves are made in a single factory in China. "The Midea Group has manufactured the majority of countertop microwave ovens sold in the United States since 2020."

Hello. I am in need of a circular polorizer for my Sigma 60-600mm lens. The choices found so far are:
B+W 105mm Basic Circular Polarizer MRC Glass Filter at $213.99 or
Urth 105mm Circular Polarizing (CPL) Lens Filter (Plus+) - 20-Layer Nano-Coated, Slim Design for Camera Lens Polarization at $199.
My experience with B&W has been excellent.
Urth is an unknown brand.
Does anyone have an opinion about the Urth brand or this particular B&W cp?
Which would you choose?

Need some feedback for purchasing my next lens.

I currently have a Canon 90 D. The only lens that will work with it is a Sigma 150 -600. It's great for my wildlife photography which is my focus, but I still need something else to continue to do other types of photography.

The budget is limited since the camera and lens are relatively new purchases. I want to do some landscape, flowers, and general all-around stuff. With my flowers, I typical lean more to close-ups, and I currently use my iPhone for that.

I am currently looking at trying one from Amazon (free return policy). The Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 is a Standard Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras (New, White Box). I know it's not a USM, but I wonder if it might be a stop-gap lens. I'm open to looking at other ones, but recently, this one has popped up.

I typically purchase from B& H. Also, open to refurbishment.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
